Florence Airport (Amerigo Vespucci Airport)

Florence Airport is 30 minutes away from Villa Bibbiani and 50 minutes away from the city center. Uber and taxis are easily accessible from the airport. Alternatively, the T2 train will get you to the city center in 23 minutes.

Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport

Bologna Airport is a 50 minute ride away from Florence city center. From the airport you can take the 7 minute Marconi Express to Bologna Centrale station (you can tap into the station with your credit card), after which you can then take an Italo train to Florence that will take 37 minutes. You can buy your tickets at the station or at italotreno.com. Alternatively, the drive is around 1.5 hours.

Pisa International Airport

Pisa International Airport is 45 minutes away from Villa Bibbiani and 1 hours and 10 minutes away from the city center.

Rome International Airport (Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport)

If you would like to fly in to or visit Rome before and after your trip, you can take a high speed train to Florence which will take 1.5 hours. The train is easily accessible and can be booked on italotreno.com. If you are renting a car, you can also drive to Florence in 2 hours and 45 minutes.

Florence city center is 30 minutes away from Villa Bibbiani. The welcome party (location TBA) will be in/near the city center.

To the wedding: We will plan coaches to take you from Piazzale Montelungo in the city center to the wedding. If you choose to take a taxi directly from your hotel, please consider that it will likely take 35-50 minutes to get to Villa Bibbiani due to traffic and small one way streets in the city center.

From the wedding: The wedding will end at 1:45 AM. We have arranged shuttles to leave Villa Bibbiani at 2:00 AM to drop off guests at Hotel Club. It is impossible to get a taxi/Uber from Villa Bibbiani to the city center at 2am at the last minute. If you wish to take a taxi back from the wedding, please make sure you have arranged this with your hotel in advance.
